The physical object and its animated explanation were designed to work together. A semi-transparent screen, coordinated with display lighting, allowed visitors to see the original object through the programme at timed intervals.
Atacama developed animation and interactive interpretation for Information Age. The approach connected screen content, the collection object and the exhibition environment, making an unfamiliar piece of technology easier to understand.
